The ethical maze of ethical investing

'Ethical','green' or 'socially responsible' investing has been around for nearly 30 years, and yet many of us still don’t know that it exists as an investment choice.

While interest in this sector has greatly increased over the last decade, such investment remains relatively small in the grand scheme of the investing universe.

Is it because we don’t see ethical funds feature in the top performance tables? Or because we just don’t have sufficient investment knowledge or expertise to differentiate between all the various investment options?
